Questions and Answers
Everything krewes ask before they load the patented condom bead onto the float: how it throws, what comes on each strand, the colors and logo options, how many to order, lead time, and where checkout happens.
See It and OrderYes. The strand is a full 33-inch Mardi Gras bead, so it arcs and releases like the standard strands already on your rack. Riders use it as a signature catch handed to sign-holders and callers rather than a strand launched by the fistful. For timing and pairing, see the krewe guide.
Each 33-inch strand carries the patented condom bead, a branded FDA-approved condom, and a short STI and condom-use information card. A full-color decal area, 2.125 inches round, can hold a krewe crest or sponsor logo. See the throw up close for the full breakdown.
Yes. The decal accepts vector .eps or .ai files, PDF, or a clean jpeg and prints in full color. The custom mark is optional, so you can also order the strand plain and trim the per-strand cost slightly.
Bead strands come in purple, green, gold, red, blue, silver, black, orange, hot pink, light pink, navy, maroon, lime green, and rainbow. Pouches are available in red, blue, black, gold, green, orange, or clear, so your throw can stay on-brand from strand to packaging.
Treat it as a standout throw, not filler. Most krewes order a modest count per rider plus a shared float reserve for the busiest stretches of the route. The buying guide walks through sizing by rider and event.
Order weeks ahead. Custom strands are made to order, with production of roughly five to seven working days after artwork approval, plus shipping. The full sequence is on the how to order page.
Yes. The product is the patented condom bead (Patent D484,065) offered across the network. This site simply frames it around parade, krewe, and float-throw culture, and every order routes to PromotionBeads.com.
Ordering and secure checkout happen on the product page at PromotionBeads.com, where case sizes and current pricing live. Because United States tariffs can shift pricing, confirm the live rate before finalizing your count.
"Throw me something, mister!"
"Hey now, hey now..."
St. Charles Avenue, floats rolling by
Krewes on the boulevard, beads in the sky
Purple for justice, green for faith, gold for power
Fat Tuesday midnight to the Ash Wednesday hour
Masks on, feathers high, fleur-de-lis shine
Catch a doubloon, catch a strand, catch a moment in time
Hands up high when the trombone blows
Laissez les bons temps rouler, here we go!
Beads for everyone, beads for anyone
Throw your hands up, Beadguy Nation!
Purple, green, and gold, make it loud
Throw your hands up, Beadguy Nation!
(Hey now! Hey now! Hey now!)
Bourbon Street balcony, neon and brass
Flambeaux carriers marching past
Rex and the Zulu, the Muses take flight
Every parade is a brand new night
Medallion custom made, logo catching the light
LED blinking on a twenty-six-degree night
Hands up high when the trumpets sing
Laissez les bons temps rouler, we're the real thing!
Beads for everyone, beads for anyone
Throw your hands up, Beadguy Nation!
Purple, green, and gold, make it loud
Throw your hands up, Beadguy Nation!
(Hey now! Hey now! Hey now!)
From the Gulf to the Great Lakes, coast to coast
Carnival season is the one we love most
King cake on the table, baby in the slice
Throw 'em once, throw 'em twice, throw 'em thrice!
Throw me something! Throw me something!
Throw me something, mister! Hey!
Let the good times roll
Let the brass band go
Let the beads fly low
Let the whole town know
We are, Beadguy Nation
We are, Beadguy Nation
Beads for everyone, beads for anyone
Throw your hands up, Beadguy Nation!
Purple, green, and gold, make it loud
Throw your hands up, Beadguy Nation!
We are the Beadguy Nation!
We are the Beadguy Nation!
(Hey now! Hey now! Hey now!)
Laissez les bons temps rouler...
Beadguy Nation rolling on...
Throw me something, mister...
